Let's make one thing clear, the shooter genre is an overused concept, but still produces some of the best games on all consoles.
Another thing that needs clarification is that I suck at them. Badly. I am as good at shooters as I am at arm wrestling. For those who don't know, I can fit my pinky finger and my thumb around my 'brawny' forearms. 'Nuff said?
The Call of Duty series in particular is one game that I know is a work of technological genius, but no amount of awesomeness crammed into a game makes it any easier. Before I go any further, I am referring to the multiplayer aspect. Campaign is a breeze even for me. One of these days I'm gonna put up some footage of my awesome prowess online. The content that this footage will include as follows; a whole round of ammunition being spent with not one bullet hitting the mark, grenades that rebound back to me and blow me to smithereens, constant deaths within 30 seconds of spawning, and a kill/death ratio so crap, you'll pinch yourself thinking,
"There's a guy I can make my COD bitch!"
Story of my life...
Not really, it's just my COD skills that are lamentable.
